Coach and Driver/Guide Tours.

Southampton Tourist Guides Association offer groups full and half day coach tours for large groups, or driver/guide tours by private car, for smaller numbers.  These can, if you wish, include our highly popular tour of Southampton’s world-renowned Docks, to see the port at work (at least one weeks notice please).

As well as these local tours, our registered Blue Badge specialist knowledge guides can conduct tours all over the southern region.  These include such popular destinations as:

The New Forest and Beaulieu
Winchester
Salisbury and Stonehenge
Broadlands House and Romsey
Windsor and its Castle
The Isle of Wight
Portsmouth and its Historic Dockyard (HMS Victory, Mary Rose etc.)
Thomas Hardy's Dorset.

If you wish, we can also provide a mixed driving and walking tour.  Just one example of this could be a coach tour to and around Salisbury, followed by a guided walking tour of Salisbury’s magnificent Cathedral and Cathedral Close.

Coach tour guiding fees depend upon the duration and destination of the tour. Times usually vary from 2 to 7 hours and visitor attractions often add to the price component. We therefore advise that you contact us via our on-line Provisional Booking Form to obtain a firm price for your particular requirements. The same advice applies when considering Driver/Guide tours for smaller groups of up to a maximum of 7 persons.

All we ask of you is that you make your own coach hire arrangements. If, however, you would like us to handle this aspect of your tour, we will be happy to do so at cost, plus a small administration fee. In the case of Driver/Guide tours we will, of course, make all necessary arrangements on your behalf.

Please also note that our Guides can arrange to join you at any mutually convenient point.
