Should you wish to spend a whole day in Southampton, we can arrange an agreed itinerary for you. Subject to opening times and schedules, we can look at the possibility of fitting in visits the city’s museums, art galleries and, possibly (given sufficient notice) a harbour cruise. All you need to do is just inform us of your wishes.
STGA specialises in Educational Tours tailored to the National Curriculum. Popular themes include Settlements, Tudors and Stuarts. World War II and the Blitz. Another well received service is our Orientation Tour for University and College students studying English. This tour has even proved to be very helpful to commercial companies considering setting up business ventures in Southampton.
Several foreign language guides are available at a small supplement and a limited number of our guides have been trained to work with disabled persons. If you have any specific needs, please ask for further details.

Currently, the fee for each of our private guided walks is £45.00 (£30.00 for Southampton schoolchildren) per group. If your group is made up of more than 25 people (including leaders), then we are afraid that, under the terms of our public liability insurance, it would be necessary for you to book for more than one group. Please note, however, that this should not effect the timing of your tour as we are well accustomed to conducting up to three simultaneous tours, all starting from the same point and all at the same time.
Purpose built tours, to meet specific client needs, and which last in excess of the normal 1½ hours duration, can be organised, and fees for these are negotiable.
If you think there is something here for you and/or your group, or would like more information? Then please complete our on-line Provisional Booking Form and we’ll do the rest.
