The Titanic Trail
The ill-fated Titanic sailed from Southampton on her maiden voyage on April 10th and sank in the North Atlantic, following a collision with an iceberg, in the early hours of April 15, 1912.

The Titanic Sailing From Southampton.
This walk takes in several monuments and locations associated with the tragedy, in which 549 residents of Southampton, (mainly members of the crew), perished. Principal among these will be passenger and crew pre-voyage accommodation buildings and a few of the public houses that crew members frequented (no time for a drink though, we’re afraid!)

The Titanic Engineers Memorial.
Canute Chambers, former headquarters of the White Star Line, where the lists of survivors were posted throughout the days following this awful event, will be a focal point of the tour.
